Position Summary:
Feeser's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is actively involved and meticulous, bringing a strategic viewpoint to the company's financial and operational matters. They are skilled in making complex issues understandable. They have an established ability to solve problems - foresee potential risks or challenges and bring solutions by influencing cross-functional collaboration. They lead their team in setting strategic objectives, mentor them to reach critical milestones, and adapt plans as required while focusing on business goals.

But that's not all! As our CFO, you'll also be vital in reviewing our current accounting processes and suggesting improvements to enhance operational efficiency. We're seeking someone with top-notch communication, technology, analytical, and management skills to excel in this position.

What You'll Do
•Leads the finance team in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, financial forecasts, budgets, and analyses.
•Directs the development, measurement, and communication of monthly KPI metrics to help track performance, outlines gap areas, and proposes solutions for bridging the gap.
•Effectively communicates complex financial information and provides financial visibility across the business to drive improvement.
•Plays a crucial role in strategic planning, and critical business initiatives, builds a spending stage gate process, and presents insightful evaluations and business commentary to a variety of audiences.
•Provides business with financial insight and thought partnership inclusive of: Trade and brand promotional spending. 
Pricing strategies; New product, channel, and market development.
•Fosters a collaborative learning environment for the finance function leaders and progresses the goals of the overall finance function.
•Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
•Reviews the planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
•Analyzes operations to identify areas needing reorganization, downsizing, or elimination and leads finance-related change management efforts.
•Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
•Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future sales and market share growth. •Oversees investment of funds by considering cash and liquidity risks.
•Manages relationships with owners and stakeholders.
•Develop strategies for product selection, pricing, and marketing.
•Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.
•Establishes and maintains the company's overall financial policies and procedures and identifies areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
•Ensures compliance with GAAP and establishes and maintains internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets and improve the accuracy and consistency of reported financial results.
•Coordinates all activities with the company's outside accounting firm, including corporate tax planning and compliance with relevant tax regulations and filings.
•Takes responsibility for all insurance-related renewals.
•Oversees the Human Resources Manager.
•Ensures legal compliance throughout human resource management.
•Ensures human resource policies and programs that align with the company's mission, vision, and values. •Ensures the talent acquisition and retention process results in a diverse and qualified workforce that meets the current and future needs of the organization.
•Fosters a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and performance.
•Ensures continual improvement in our HR processes to reduce manual work while providing quality service.

•Ability to manage relationships with suppliers and customers.
•Must be proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, SUMPRODUCT, data validation, logical operators, and wildcards.
•Ability to leverage technology to improve financial reporting, forecasting, and decision-making. What You'll Need •A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance is required.
•Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
•Eight to ten years of experience in financial management is required.
•Wholesale distribution experience is beneficial.
