Financial Analyst – Feeser’s Food Distributors | Harrisburg, PA (Onsite)**

🚀 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Enterprise Analytics & Modeling

  • Lead analytical capabilities across Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Transportation
  • Build advanced analytical models, dashboards, and data visualizations
  • Develop a deep understanding of Feeser’s go‑to‑market strategy and operational functions
  • Initiate analyses with a growth mindset to solve problems and recommend solutions
  • Explore competitor, industry, and macroeconomic trends to strengthen analytics

Oracle Transformation & Data Evolution

  • Partner with the Corporate Financial Analyst to advance analytics during the transition to:
    • Oracle Fusion
    • Oracle Analytics Cloud
    • Oracle EPM
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting and data capabilities

Profitability & Performance Insights

  • Analyze profitability by region, business segment, customer, and item category
  • Identify variability, trends, and opportunities to improve margins
  • Support Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing with rebate‑driven insights
  • Collaborate with Pricing and Rebate Analysts to drive cross‑functional recommendations

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Management

  • Manage day‑to‑day department budget activities
  • Monitor expenses, post accruals, and explain variances
  • Prepare monthly forecast updates and annual budget submissions
  • Present findings to leadership with actionable plans
  • Lead cash flow and working capital forecasting

Strategic Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Execute ad hoc projects to reduce costs, increase sales, or improve operational efficiency
  • Stay informed on industry and economic trends impacting financial performance
  • Identify areas where deeper analytics can drive meaningful improvement

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Data Analysis, or related field (required)
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Finance or Data Analyst (required)
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required)
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or EPM tools (preferred)
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle EPM, or Oracle Fusion (a plus)

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Clear verbal communication skills
