We're looking for a self-driven sales professional who enjoys meeting people, solving business challenges, and helping local foodservice operators succeed throughout North Central Pennsylvania.


About the Role

This position is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships throughout the State College region. You'll spend the majority of your time visiting customers, identifying opportunities for growth, introducing new products, and becoming a trusted resource for local foodservice operators.

Rather than working from an office, you'll manage your territory independently while receiving the support of an experienced sales and operations team.


What You'll Do

Build Business Relationships

  • Establish long-term partnerships with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, colleges, and hospitality businesses.

  • Schedule regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.

  • Become a trusted advisor by understanding each customer's unique operation.


Expand Your Territory

  • Prospect new businesses within your assigned market.

  • Develop referral partnerships and local networking opportunities.

  • Introduce Feeser's products and services to prospective customers.

  • Create customized solutions that support customer growth.


Help Customers Succeed

  • Recommend products that improve menu offerings and operational efficiency.

  • Share market trends, seasonal products, and promotional opportunities.

  • Coordinate product demonstrations and vendor-supported tastings when appropriate.

  • Respond quickly to customer questions and service requests.


Manage Your Territory

  • Organize daily travel routes to maximize customer coverage.

  • Monitor sales activity using CRM software.

  • Review account performance and identify opportunities for continued growth.

  • Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer information.


Work as One Team

Partner with internal departments including:

  • Purchasing

  • Customer Service

  • Transportation

  • Warehouse Operations

  • Credit & Collections

to ensure customers receive outstanding service from order placement through delivery.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory each business day.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.


Preferred Experience

  • Outside sales or account management.

  • Restaurant, culinary, hospitality, or foodservice experience.

  • Business development experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, Culinary Arts, or related field.

Physical Requirements

Candidates should be able to:

  • Drive throughout the assigned territory daily.

  • Visit customer locations including restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and foodservice operations.

  • Occasionally lift product samples weighing up to 40 pounds.

  • Sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout the workday.

  • Work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
